My new “lawn tenders” do not require gas or oil…….they do not run on electricity or any other source of power. They will never see a repair garage and you can not buy them at your local Home Depot. They consume grass, leaves, pine trees, flowers and anything else that might want to grow within their reach. Their projected “life” is about 10 to 15 years and they operate year round and in any weather. The purchase price was $125 for a set of two of them.

It gets better…….kids love to play with them, they will entertain crowds of people and they are great for birthday parties. They will fertilize your lawn without the use of any harmful chemicals and their…..um……exhaust will not hurt your lawn of flower beds. When they are not busy working they will put on mock battles that will entertain most people for minutes on end.

On a serious note, they manage to keep our lawn nice and green without the use of harmful chemicals. We live on a lake that is a public water source so lawn chemicals are not a great idea.
