Build Boston Show 2008

Written by green1 on Nov 6th, 2008 | Filed under: Green Shows Green events

Dates: November 18-20, 2008

Location: Boston MA

Event: Build Boston

If you are looking to learn about green building products then plan to attend the Build Boston Show in Boston MA.  While the show is not promoted as a “Green Home Show”, it has more green products and green vendors than all of the spring and fall home shows combined!  I’ve attended the show for the past few years and met several green vendors that deal with about every home improvement that you could dream of.  Here is a short list of some of the types of green home improvement vendors;

Plumbing:  Low volume & Dual flush toilets

Roofing:  Rubber/plastic slate roofing that outlives most other types of roofing and it can be recycled.

Solar:  Solar heat options, solar panels, solar lighting

Flooring: Bamboo and a ton of other selections, also low VOC/no VOC glue options.

For more details please visit the Build Boston website or call 800-544-1898.  I’ll post a review of the show in a couple of weeks.

EDIT:  This is a link to our review of the Greenbuild Boston Expo

Our review of the Build Boston Show should be posted later today.
